Additional Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Blue (2nd Generation) Information

Using either witchcraft, fairy dust or highly gifted engineers (we're not sure which), Apple has created an iPod Shuffle of an almost impossibly small size. Only slightly bigger than a U.S. quarter, this teensy-weensy device packs 2GB of Storage space. Enough for up to 480 of your favorite songs! Apple also attached a clip to the back of the Shuffle, so you can wear it anywhere for skip-free Music playback. Perfect for working out or just walking down the street. Unit Dimensions - 1.62 x 1.07 x 0.41 (including clip) Unit Weight - 0.55 oz. Color - Blue

What Customers Say About Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Blue (2nd Generation):

So here are the five things *I* like best about it:It's small and lightweight and goes right into my shirt pocket. It's inexpensive so if i lose or break it or if it is stolen no big deal.I can use the controls without looking at it.It holds just the right amount of music.Sand doesn't mess it up at the beach. The charge lasts a long time.Okay, so that's six.Anyway, I've had my shuffle for 2 1/2 years and I still love it. What is there to say about the iPod shuffle that hasn't already been said in the other 300+ reviews.

I would use this seller again. I ordered an ipod nano and received the product on time and in perfect condition. The accessories that were included looked brand new even though the product was refurbished.

I wish it would have come with an outlet charger. I can take it anywhere with me.Uploading songs is a breeze.the only downside I see is that you have to charge it by plugging it into your computer. But all in all I love it. This is a great mp3 player. It is easy to use and great in size.

I don't expect this battery life to last that long, since iPods are notorious for dying rechargeable batteries (but then again, all rechargeable batteries lose charge after every recharge). It ran for a good two days, probably because of the lack of switching tracks and the lack of a backlit screen. I decided to not charge it until it ran out of batteries and kept it on from the instant I had it fully charged.

I was used to my 40GB 3rd Gen Classic, so the thought of not being able to access all my music at the time I want to was something that only gave me dread. However, on a whim when I got a bonus and when my roommate who has a shuffle told me how he liked it and that my concerns were unwarranted, I bought this little device. Being unable to do so is a disadvantage in most cases that I listen to music, but it's a blessing in disguise. This device is small, but because of that, it's not cumbersome at all while exercising, driving, or almost any task. At first, there a few things that I didn't like about the iPod shuffle (prior to buying, of course).1) There isn't a screen, making it difficult for me to change to a song I happen to like at a certain time2) It was too small in my opinion, both physically and as far as memory was concerned.

It also comes with a clip by itself, so one can position in most any position he or she desires.I was also surprised by the battery time. Apple products are perhaps a little overpriced at times, but for what it's worth, the iPod Shuffle is well worth the money in terms of quality, time, and its simplicity. I was still skeptical, but most of my concerns are mostly gone.Although the device is indeed small as far as memory wise comparatively, it stores more than enough if I listen on a normal basis.

Additionally, on the occasion that I am listening while on the car, I don't want to be distracted by trying to select a song every few minutes (hence why I used to prefer listening to the radio).

They're a good replacement if you buy from the iTunes Music Store. I've bought two of these to temporarily replace larger, more expensive iPods that have been stolen or broken.
